Ongoing projects

Currently the group works on the following fields.

• Yttria stabilized zirconia- a material with a wide range of applications. Investigations are ongoing on finding the influence of carbon nanoforms and rare earth oxides.  

• Commercially available metallic materials: Cu sheets, Al can recycling and Pb free solders.

• High entropy fluorite oxides as potential superior materials for thermal barrier coatings.  

• Multi principal element alloy thin films and orientation relationships.
