Ongoing projects
Currently the group works on the following fields.
-
Yttria stabilized zirconia- a material with a wide range of applications. Investigations are ongoing on finding the influence of carbon nanoforms and rare earth oxides. Suman, Yash and Shrey work on these projects.
-
Commercially available metallic materials: Cu sheets, Al can recycling and Pb free solder alloys. Aditya Dalei's BTP is based on these.
-
High entropy silicides for heating elements as possible replacement for MoSi2:
-
Multi principal element alloy thin films and orientation relationships: The group is looking for a PhD student or a post doc to work on the field.
Current funded projects
Phase stability and high temperature deformation behavior of high entropy fluorite oxides (HEFOs)
Funding source: IIT Bhubaneswar
Twinning induced orientation relationships in alloy thin films
Funding source: DST-ANRF, Govt. of India
